A narrative’s thesis statement is not exactly like the thesis statements used in argumentative or analytical essays.
The thesis statement for a narrative essay does not necessarily need to outline the whole essay. Instead, it should be a sentence including one of two things: the overall theme of the narrative or a lesson learned.
Open the 11th Grade Narrative Prompt link, pick one prompt and write your introductory paragraph.

Although the statements made during the debate can not be changed or altered, different news mediums can select which statements (claims) to check and provide their own evidence to support the claims made in the debate. The selection of fact-checking evidence and commentary can shape the public perception of each candidate based on their answers.
